Life Partner is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film. It stars Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Genelia D'Souza and Prachi Desai in lead roles. The film is written and directed by Rumi Jaffery and produced by AbbasMustan under their banner, Burmawalla Bros.
The film revolves around three friends who have different views on marriage and love. Karan (Fardeen Khan) is a happy-go-lucky guy who falls in love with Sanjana (Genelia D'Souza), a spoiled and pampered girl. Bhavesh (Tusshar Kapoor) is a traditional and conservative guy who believes in arranged marriage and wants to marry Prachi (Prachi Desai), a simple and cultured girl. Jeet (Govinda) is a divorce lawyer who does not believe in marriage or love and advises his friends to stay away from it.
